We have always loved riding around the
farm just as much as the state parks. But, we found a place better than
any park we've been to! It's amazing what can be right out your back door
or down the street if you never stop to look and appreciate it! It's hard
to believe what a great time we had only a few miles from home! Who needs
to drive 3 hours to some big park and pay to ride!
Bob & Linda had us out for a ride on
their farm. I have to say, I was looking forward to this ride ever since
they invited us. What a beautiful place! The trails were great!
Steep hills, creek beds, old cemeteries, abandoned cabins. Even a hornet
nest on the side of a tree. We all could have rode for hours it was so
beautiful! The view from the tops of the ridge were amazing!
We were treated to a wonderful dinner!
Some of the best Cheesy Hash browns we've ever had! Phil is right, great
Mac & Cheese! The only down fall to the day, is the onset of night
rushed us home. Thanks Bob & Linda for a great day! I think I can
speak for everyone here at Shilo Farms, WE'LL BE BACK!!
Here are a few pictures we took. Even
these few pictures couldn't capture all the beautiful scenery.
