Well, we all made it! And safe and sound!
(accept Carmen's foot) We would like to thank everyone who makes
this day possible. Mike K. for taking the day and driving the trailer!
For Sherry helping get the horses ready. The Carmen Cab Company (the
company that cares!!) for driving us around. Trina for following the
riders to insure a safe trip! And for the Sheriff's escort all the way
from Canaan to Madison! Caroline for getting all the paperwork at the post
office done, and her husband who now has the job of cleaning and fixing the
saddle bags! Our farrier, Tom for keeping our horses feet in such great
shape!
There's a lot more that goes into this than probably can
be expected! But it's that the way with everything! It was truly a
blast to have all of our friends and neighbors in the Canaan Community riding on
this years Pony Express.
I can't say it enough, thanks everyone who
makes this day so special!
