No one ever said you have to ride your
horse just in the woods! (Especially now that it's gun season!) If
they did, we sure didn't hear that one! What a great day to ride! A
great fall day to ride. There may not be many more like this one! We
took the horses up to Madison and parked at Tractor Supply. We rode to the
all round Madison Hill Top.
This was NuCents first trip to town, he did
great. Elvis' second time, he rides like a pro now! Gunner is back
for a tune up, he couldn't eat grass! He was so upset! Wiz, well,
he's rode everywhere. Jake and Buster are old veterans. They don't
care! We had a great ride around town then stopped in the Nex-Dor for
dinner.
A special thank you to the people at Tractor Supply here in
Madison. Horses can be "messy" at times, but they welcomed us to park and
ride there anytime! They made us feel welcome, even gave the horses some
treats. We were over whelmed when we pulled back in to the parking lot,
and found a water through and feeder with grain in it! Tractor Supply also
helps support the Horse and Pony 4-H Club kids here!
Another special thanks to the people at the Nex-Dor Restaurant
& Lounge at the Best Western in Madison. Not only for a great service,
great meal & cold drinks. Also letting our horses stand tied in your
parking lot!
